Short Biography

Dr. Amiya Kumar Tripathy is a Professor in Computer Engineering. He had been the Dean (Research & Development) of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Dr. Tripathy is also an Adjunct Professor to School of Science, Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia. He had been a Research Mentor on Smart Farming Project, Thailand with RM University of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Tripathy had been the Secretary to RUSA, Government of Maharashtra for Higher studies in Geo-Spatial Technology.

Dr. Tripathy earned Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and has been 22 years in Software Industry, Research & Academics having 125 plus publications to repute.

He has been Editorial board member of IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems and Elsevier’s Journal of Information Science.

He has been the General Chair & Program Chair to many IEEE/ACM International conferences and has delivered many keynote & plenary talks. He has been carried out many collaborative overseas projects.

His research interest includes Machine Learning, Data Science, Sensor Networks, ICT for Agriculture & Rural Development.
