Short Biography
Mariemma I. Yague received her BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Granada in 1990 and 1992, respectively. After working at the University of Vigo, she joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of Málaga in 1996 where she received her PhD degree in Computer Science in 2003 and is currently an Associate Professor.

Her main research activities are primarily in the area of metadata and security on distributed information systems. More specifically, access control, authorization, digital rights management (DRM), and security engineering. She has been guest editor of various special issues on refereed international journals such as Computer Standards & Interfaces, Internet Research and the international Journal of Digital Information Research, and acted as a referee for others such as the Computer Journal.

She has also been member of Organisation and Program Committees of many International Conferences such as European Symposium on Research in Computer Security (ESORICS), International Workshop On Security In Information Systems (WOSIS), International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES), International Conference on Security and Cryptography (SECRYPT), IFIP International Workshop on Network and System Security (NSS), ACM Symposium on Applied Computing, etc.
