Dr. MOHD SHAHID HUSAIN SIDDIQUI has done his PhD from Integral University, Lucknow and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A), one of the renowned institute in India. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor at Ministry Of Higher Education, Oman. He is GATE & UGC NET Qualified and has more than 12 years of research & teaching experience (at UG & PG level). His area of interest includes Artificial Intelligence, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Computer Network & Security. He has published more than 30 Research papers in reputed International journals and proceedings of International Conferences (like IEEE, Springer & Elsevier). He has authored 2 books “Language Independent Approach to Develop Information Retrieval System: A Case Study for Urdu Language” ISBN 3659273767, 9783659273766 & “Artificial Intelligence” ISBN 978-93-5163-363-1 and 4 book chapters. He has supervised 20 M.Tech. and more than 80 B.Tech students for their thesis & major projects. He has involved in various Govt. funded projects as Principal/C0 Investigator. He is active member of professional bodies like IEEE, ACM, ISTE, IEEE Communication Society, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, IEEE Cloud Computing Community.
