| Short Biography |
| Dragan Simic has devoted his whole professional work to the business information systems organization, development and implementation. He has participated in several projects and the implementation of different information systems, out of which the most important are: Public Company for City Transport, Chess Olympics, World Chess Federation (FIDE) Congress, Novi Sad Fair information system, Hotel information systems and Congress Business centre. Dragan Simic received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. His research interests include artificial intelligence, with particular focus on case-based reasoning and its implementation in decision support system in finance and medicine domains. Also his research fields are logistics and Internet technology. Dr. Simi has published numerous scientific-research papers in various information technologies areas. He has reviewed articles in International Journals. He has been an organizer of special sessions and program committee member in International Conference. Dr. Dragan Simic works at company Novi Sad Fair. Also, he is a professor at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences. Dr. Simic has been the member of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) representing Republic of Serbia. |
