Short Biography
Dr S.Vasavi is working as a Professor in CSE Department with 26 years of experience. She successfully completed two funded projects. One ongoing funded project from ISRO. Completed collaborative research work with Professors of Illinois state university, National University of Singapore, Michigan State University, University of Baja California. Completed collaborative research work with scientists of R&D organizations such as ADRIN, NRSC, SAC, APSDMA, INCOIS, APSAC. She published 91 papers in various SCI/Scopus/Google Scholar Indexed conferences and journals. She published four patents. She received travel grant to USA and Thailand. She is the Keynote speaker for IEEE ICOIP conducted at Singapore in 2017. She visited reputed universities at U.S.A, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Received Best Paper award at IEEE IEMCON 2018 held at University of British Columbia, Canada in 2018. She is a Senior Member of IEEE, Life Member of CSI, Member Machine Intelligence Research Labs, Washington , USA. Her Research Areas are Bigdata analytics and Computer Vision. She is a Reviewer for Scopus Indexed journals and conferences [Springer, IEEE, Elsevier]. Received Best Teacher Award, Vishitta Mahila Award, Conferred Outstanding Women in Engineering Award, Good standing Through from IEEE, Best Faculty in Rural Institution award.
