Subhajit Bhattacharya has over 11 years of experience in IT consultancy, operations, and project management working with some of the global fortune 100 multi-national companies. During his professional career he has got an in-depth exposure to software engineering, strategic project management and delivery operations, and strategic business leadership and management. He has been Global Project Delivery Manager at Accenture and currently heading complete Innovation & Automation program for India & APAC.

Prior to Accenture, he had been part of Microsoft Center of Excellence at TATA Consultancy Services and has worked as IT Applications Manager at Bank of America.

He is honorary Advisory Council member of prestigious Harvard Business Review, USA. He has served as a business advisor and honorary board member for Indian IT startups.

He has been honored as a chairperson for special sessions in international conferences and has been member of technical advisory board for various national and international conferences. 

He has been visiting consultant for various government and non-government organizations for IT enablement and project management. He has also been invited as visiting guest lecturer at various engineering and management colleges.

He has written for various journals and white papers on Information Technology and management principles and he is a regular contributor to them. He is an active member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Harvard Business Review, Project Management Association (UK), Indian Science Congress (Lifetime member and donor), Microsoft TechNet, IEEE, Cloud Computing Association (USA), All India Management Association (AIMA), and Computer Society of India (CSI)

Many of his research papers have been selected and published in international journals.

Subhajit has done his Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Applications from Vellore Institute of Technology, PGDBM (International Business) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and Executive Business Management (dual specialization in Marketing & HR) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has also received various prominent professional certifications.

He is very much passionate of teaching and research on applied Information Technology, project management dynamics, and strategic business management.
