Short Biography
A. Mani is a researcher in algebra, logic, rough sets, vagueness and foundations of Mathematics. She has published extensively in rough sets for over a decade in peer reviewed international journals and is a leading researcher on the foundations of the field. Her current affiliations include the University of Calcutta. She has also been involved in development of courses in machine learning, mathematics and statistics. She has over 12 years of experience in providing consulting services in soft and statistical computing and GNU/R. Her involvement with the free software movement goes back to her college days and is currently a Ubuntu women leader. Her homepage is at this link.
