Parag Chatterjee works at the National Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His current research is focused on Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare, especially in cardiometabolic and chronic diseases.

After obtaining a first class Master's degree in Computer Science from St. Xavier's College Kolkata (University of Calcutta, India), Chatterjee started his research on IoT at the GIBIO Research Team of National Technological Univeristy (UTN) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Also he works closely with researchers from University of Rome Tor Vergata (Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata) in Italy, University of the Republic (Universidad de la República) in Uruguay, University of Technology of Troyes (Université de Technologie de Troyes) in France, Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon and University of São Paulo, Brazil.

Apart from serving the reviewer and editorial boards of several international journals and technical program committees of several IEEE International Conferences, Parag Chatterjee delivered keynote lectures and invited talks at reputed institutions like Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore), Favaloro Univeristy in Argentina and University of the Republic in Uruguay. Currently he is working on designing an inclusive IoT system for predictive analysis of cardiometabolic diseases.
