Prof. Jovan Tepić, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at Department of Technology Transportation Systems, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad. He graduated at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Zagreb, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

In 2005 he became Master of Science in Transportation, Logistics and Management, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Department of Transportation, University of Novi Sad, and finally, in 2006 he finished his PhD in Transportation, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Department of Transportation, and University of Novi Sad.

He’s got 25 years of working experience. He spent 17 years in the industry: for 7 years he was working for Steel Plants “ŽELJZARA SISAK“ Sisak, Croatia, 1 year for DP Ciglana “RAZVITAK“ Ilok, Serbia; 10 years for Private production and trade company “SMIG“ Ltd., Novi Sad,  and 8 years in education.

He worked as a Teaching Assistant, Department of Technology Transportation Systems, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, than as an Assistant Professor at the same department, and from 2011 onwards he works as an Associate Professor at the same department and the same university.

He also works as Professor (part-time), Railway College of Vocational Studies, Belgrade, (Courses: Materials Technology and Protection, Mechanical Elements), and at Faculty of Business Economy, Educons University, Sremska Kamenica (Courses: Logistics of Business Systems, Process Logistics)

He has published over 50 papers at scientific conferences, in international and national journals. 18 of his papers are in SCI list (Kobson).

He is Author of four course books and workbooks (collections of solved problems) at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad.

Furthermore, he has participated in 9 projects, and has been a Head of 2.
