Short Biography

Dr. E. Grace Mary Kanaga has been in the teaching profession for 16 years. She has completed her Ph.D. degree in November 2011 from Anna University of Technology Coimbatore. She received her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 1997 from Madras University and her Master of Technology degree with Distinction in Computer Science and Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), India in 2002. She started her career as lecturer in Priyadharshini Engineering College in the year 1997. Then she joined Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College as a lecturer in 1998 and worked there for three years. She is working in Karunya University, Coimbatore, India since 2002 and currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Her research work in the area of software agents was selected in an International Conference in Portugal and she went and presented her research work in Portugal. Her area of interests includes Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Systems and Software Agents. She is the PG Programme Coordinator in CSE department and one of the Board of Studies members. She is the coordinator for Software Agents research group. She has guided more than 45 UG and PG projects. She has published more than 33 papers in national and international conferences, international journals and book chapters. Currently four Ph.D. research scholars are pursuing their research under her guidance.
