| Short Biography |
Soham Sarkar received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India in 2005. He completed his M.Tech. in Radio Physics and Electronics from Calcutta University, Kolkata, India in 2007 . Currently he is perusing his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
He is an Assistant Professor in Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering of RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He has more than 7 years of teaching experience as Lecturer and Assistant Professor. His current research interests include the Evolutionary Algorithms, Soft Computing Techniques, Pattern Recognition, and Digital Image Processing.
Mr. Sarkar has published his work in the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing and has several papers pending with other journals of IEEE and Elsevier. In addition, his papers have been accepted and published at reputed conference proceedings of IEEE, Springer LNCS, Springer AISC etc. He has reviewed several Journal and conference proceedings including IEEE, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis and Springer. |
